Etwall Bowls Club was founded in 1965, the first meeting was held at the Parish Room on 22nd April 1965. Members of the community should appreciate the facility these founding lady and men bowlers achieved with their time and effort in seeking the creation of this sporting facility in our village.
A picture from the Derby Telegraph of 30th July 1965 shows members of the mens section playing their first game at Newton Solney. If you can fill in a name please let us know.
